Got this in an email a couple days ago, forgot to share;
24 skateparks in 24 hours…one of our good local accounts planned and executed this idea and it’s pretty damn cool. Joel is the man and he runs Metro Skateshop…located in Concord California which is home to Corey Duffel…I used to sell Deluxe stuff to Joel when he slept in the back of the skate shop, and had to come and go using the backdoor so the landlord of the building he was renting would not know he was living in the place. He was scraping by…but I knew he would make it.
He has since then moved the store, and turned those hard years of breaking even into a dream, with a team, and that same passion and soul for skateboarding we all have. Not too mention he rips for a 30 some year old guy, he has some shit in there look for it beanplant…super sick.
Check it out, 24 parks is a LOT…and 24 hours is not a LOT of time…the photo’s are great, sequences work too, but the footage really brings it home.
The Skate Spot have got a new montage for the month of March, good footage and the ender is a beast.
Featuring (in order of appearance): Mike Long, Miles Wood, Logan Taylor, Ian “Poods” Barry, Brad Herrera, Josh Brown, Walter Gironas, Andy Beaumarchais, Cameron Holland, Ryan Lusteg, Jake Loban, Tyler Adams Hawkins, Will Fyok, Anthony “Dukie” Meier, Josh Brogan, Jacob Evans, Josh “Shortbus” Johnson, and Ralf Saldivar
I’ve been waiting for this one since the first Berrics promo clip but now Jimmy Cao is the newest recruit over there and he doesn’t disappoint. Watch it here or download it for your ipod using the link below. Buttery, buttery style. You know that new City video’s gonna be good too.
